$0 - $6000 0%

$6001 - $37,000 15%

$37,001 - $80,000 30%

$80,001 - $180,000 37%

$180,001+ 45%

Add Medicare levy of 1.5% to the above where applicable


Low Income Tax Offset (LITO):

An increase in LITO means the effective tax free threshold for minors (to receive trust distributions) is $3,000 in 2009/10 and $3,333 in 2010/11. If you have a business and have children under 18 YOA then a trust is a great option to minimise tax. Click here to learn more.
